Loggerhead Turtle Takes Reduced
in 2004 Mid-Atlantic Sea Scallop Fishery

Gloucester, MA -- Estimates released today by NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) indicate a reduction in takes of loggerhead sea turtles during 2004 in the Mid-Atlantic sea scallop dredge fishery. A summary of the report is here. The full document is posted here.
