NEFSC Advanced Sampling Technologies Research Staff

The NEFSC Advanced Sampling Technologies Research team currently consists of one full-time Research Fishery Biologist (Michael Jech) who conducts the fisheries acoustic operations and research, one Research Fishery Biologist (Jonathan Deroba) who devotes about half of his time to incorporating the acoustic estimates into fisheries assessments, and one Electronics Engineer (Joseph Godlewski) to assist in developing and maintaining advanced sampling technologies for NEFSC. The team has recently added the services of one Fisheries Biological Technician (Jennifer Johnson) to assist in acoustic research, programming, and data processing.
