for Black Sea Bass, Centropristis striata
Josh Dayton (JD) has been working with Black Sea Bass at NOAA since 2008, and has 2 years of prior experience. Whole otoliths are viewed with reflected light.
In tests where agreement is below 90%, bias indicates either the P-value of a Bowker’s test or ‘n/s’ (test not significant at the α = 0.05 level). Structure indicates which part of the fish was used: Scales, Otoliths, or a combination of both (S+O); one test compared the two structures.
