Thank you for your interest in the 2008 Bradford E. Brown Student Internship Program at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC). Although our annual budget is not yet in place, we do hope to have several positions funded for the summer of 2008. We encourage you to keep your options open and to remember that it is in your best interest to search out other possible summer jobs as well.

NEFSC summer positions are filled by matching an applicant's skills and interests with an appropriate area of research within the NEFSC laboratories. After carefully reading the list of 2008 SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITIES, please indicate on your application, in order of preference, which laboratory and position(s) you are interested in.

During the summer, a Summer Student/Intern Symposium will take place and each student will give a five-minute PowerPoint presentation about their intern experience in front of an audience including students, advisors, and interested staff. This is a great opportunity to share your experiences with others and to learn more about the work being done at NOAA's Fisheries in the Northeast Region.
