Monkfish tags were released through a cooperative effort between the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) and the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI). Releases occur in waters off New England to Nova Scotia, these electronic tags can be reported by way of the form below or by calling GMRI or the NEFSC toll-free at (877) 826-2612, fish tagged by other programs can be reported on a separate page (click here for non-NEFSC tag reporting)
