Annual Conditions on the Northeast Shelf Ecosystem by Subarea

The Northeast Continental Shelf can be divided into four major subareas: Gulf of Maine (GOM), Georges Bank (GB), Southern New England (SNE) and the Middle Atlantic Bight (MAB), which reflect different underlying oceanographic conditions and fishery management boundaries.
