CRD 01-15 Table 5. Results from a stepwise selection of a model of bycatch rates of coastal bottlenose dolphins in mid-Atlantic gillnets using gear characteristics and fishing practices. The statistics provided for each model includes: degrees of freedom of the model (DF), deviance of the model (Deviance), residual degrees of freedom (Resid DF), residual deviance (Resid Dev), and the AIC. The smaller the AIC the better the model fits.
